Fantastic Creatures has received nomination for the Music of the Year award at the 18th Annual Game Audio Network Guild Awards, one of the most prestigious awards in the game audio industry, to be held at the Game Developers Conference - GDC on March 19th, 2020.

Mythological Units. Ancient China. In the divine Chinese realm, Fantastic Creatures are awakening to a dire situation. The land is dying, resources are scarce and time is running out. Incarnate one of the four Fantastic Creatures: Dragon, Tiger, Turtle or Vermilion Bird to unveil the ancient mysteries of Tian.
The Soundtrack for Fantastic Creatures tells the many stories that comes to form the Chinese creation myths: from the dismembered corpses of a primordial giant (Pangu), world parent siblings (Fuxi and Nuwa), to the later gods and goddesses such as Xiwangmu the Queen Mother of the West. The Soundtrack employs live recordings of many traditional Chinese instruments such as the pipa, guzheng, dizi, hulusi, sheng erhu, as well as cello solo performances by Armen Ksakijian. The Chinese instrumentalists are some of the best in the US, contracted through Zhonghua Chinese Orchestra. The full soundtrack album is available on Spotify, iTunes, Amazon on Nov. 14th, 2019 along with the release of the game on Steam. It includes a song with lyrics taken from a Tang Dynasty poem that depicts a scene in "Tale of King Mu, Son of Heaven" where Xiwangmu awaits for the arrival of her beloved King Mu of Zhou.
Taiwan PBS and Netflix co-produced mini-series “Green Door” has received nomination for Best Sound, Best Actress, and Best Mini-Series categories at the 2019 Golden Bell Awards in Taiwan. The awards ceremony will be broadcasted live on October 5th 2019.

April 10, 2019 – Taiwanese film composer Ian Chen was named by Music Resource Group (MRG) today as a Nominee in The 17th annual Independent Music Awards (The IMAs), the influential awards program for independent artists and releases. Innovative self-released and indie label projects - in all styles and mediums were nominated by fans and industry panelists in 103 Album, Song, EP, Music Producer, Music Video and Design categories that were culled from thousands of submissions worldwide.
Ian Chen’s Original Soundtrack for THIS LAND is nominated for Best Score (Film/TV/Game) alongside Paul Terry’s Original Soundtrack for SUDNEY & FRIENDS and Kristoffer Lo’s Original Soundtrack for TRONDHEIMSREISEN.

Netflix has picked up global rights to Mandarin-language TV horror-thriller series “Green Door.” The SVOD service is launching the series on March 16 in more than 190 countries and has said that the acquisition adds to the “increasing diversity and breadth of content that Netflix has to offer.”
On-demand streaming on Netflix begins from Saturday.

Taiwanese thriller mini-series GREEN DOOR was adapted from novel CATHARSIS by Joseph Chen. The series centers around a psychiatrist who sees clients affected by paranormal activities. The story explores the natural desires for happiness and security among humans.
The show premieres tonight in Taiwan on PTS.
The soundtrack for This Land has been selected at the 2018 International Sound & Film Music Festival, out of 820 submissions, and will be competing for the Crystal Pine Award in the 'Best Original Score, Documentary' category.
